Staying connected and honoring our lost Emmons shipmates was enough incentive to keep the COVID pandemic from cancelling our reunion. On October 2nd, 113 shipmates, family and friends came together virtually via Zoom to spend two hours together celebrating the Emmons legacy and honoring the shipmates who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country at Okinawa.
