The USS Emmons Association is a 501(c)(3) organization established to facilitate contact and relationships among family members and friends of former crew members of the USS Emmons DD-457/DMS-22, a WWII destroyer.  The organization works to preserve the memory of USS Emmons and honor the memory of the 60 shipmates who perished in her sinking on April 6, 1945 at Okinawa, Japan.  Click here for a complete listing of all USS Emmons officers and crew.

We hope you enjoy exploring our website as you learn of our efforts to maintain contact among the "Emmons Family" through this site, newsletters and our annual reunions, and our scholarship program that helps in our efforts to keep the Emmons legacy alive for generations to come.

Our "Emmons Family" membership consists of crew members, their families and friends.  We know there are more of you out there that we haven't heard from, as we routinely receive contact from Emmons crew members, their children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. If you're one who has any connection whatsoever with the USS Emmons, or simply wants to be a part of our special bond and wants to learn more, we'd love to hear from you.  Please contact us and we'll add you to our mailing list.

And we ask that you consider becoming a member supporting  our efforts by visiting our Membership Page or simply make a contribution through our Contributions Page.
